Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! I am so excited about having your child in my class! My name is Stephanie Shealy. This is my seventh year of teaching Special Education. I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from Irmo High School. I attended Newberry College and double majored in Elementary Education and Special Education - Learning Disabilities. I hold my Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I live in Leesville with my husband, Brian and our daughter, Anna Grace. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends, playing volleyball, and attending football games. I look forward to a great school year!
I am fortunate to have an instructional assistant working full time with me this year - Miss Sylvia Rikard. She has been an instructional assistant for six years and has been a great asset to our school. Her passion is children and helping them succeed. She has lived in Saluda County her entire life and has been a lifelong member of Eastside Baptist Church. She enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
